1 / 3Built interface — skill tree
Overview
Skills & Progression adds a character sheet to your city. Driving, shooting, stamina, swimming, crafting and the trade jobs each have a tree, an XP curve and perks that unlock at thresholds. Every perk is a config entry other resources can read, and exports and events let the jobs and minigames you already run award XP without being edited.
It is for servers where a player has seen everything worth seeing by their second week. Progression gives the jobs, heists and minigames already installed a reason to be repeated, and gives a new player a visible next step on their first night. Gain rates, caps and decay are edited in a curve editor rather than in Lua, so a skill that levels too quickly is fixed the same evening it is reported. Staff can grant, reset or audit a character's progression from a console when a dispute needs settling.
Balance updates and new skill branches are published while you are subscribed. If you cancel, updates stop and the licence to run the system ends with the period you have paid for. Player progression stays in your database.
