1 / 3Built interface — Coast map
Overview
Marina & Boating gives the coastline a purpose. Boats are owned like cars, stored in a boat garage and moored at a marina berth that is rented by the week, with berth fees, a waiting list when the marina is full and a harbourmaster who assigns berths and handles disputes. Fishing charters take players out to marked grounds where catch tables depend on depth, time of day and weather, and the catch sells at a fish market with prices that move with supply.
The coastguard is a job with its own dispatch. Distress calls come from players whose boat has capsized or run out of fuel and from NPC incidents placed along the coast, and a rescue involves reaching the casualty, towing or recovering the boat and bringing people back to the marina, with pay per rescue and a log for the job's supervisors. Smuggling drop-offs put crates at sea zones that change each cycle, with a coastguard signal chance on pickup so the two jobs meet on the water.
The harbourmaster panel is a tablet NUI with the berth map, the waiting list, fee collection, a register of boats and owners and the coastguard incident log. Marina locations, berth counts, fishing grounds, sea zones and market prices are Lua tables with the default map's coast already filled in, storage goes through oxmysql and boats use your framework's vehicle ownership so nothing about the garage needs a second system.

Eligible resources
The plan covers these resource types. Individual resources are listed in your Gaming Library as they publish.
- Marina berths
- Boat garage
- Fishing grounds
- Coastguard job
- Sea zones
- Harbourmaster panel
Features
- Berths that run out
- A marina has a fixed number of berths, a weekly fee and a waiting list, so mooring space is something players compete for.
- Two jobs, one sea
- Smuggling pickups can trigger a coastguard signal, which puts the criminal run and the rescue job on the same water at the same time.
- Fishing with variables
- Catch tables change with depth, time of day and weather, so charter captains learn the grounds instead of pressing one key.
